Consultations
HyperRegen Sports Medicine offers consultations to Canadians who are waiting for a diagnosis and treatment plan for their orthopaedic concerns in their home province.
Across Canada, there is significant variability in one’s ability to access orthopaedic consultations in a timely fashion. Several factors may contribute to this including the province you live in, whether you reside in a rural or urban setting, access to a primary care physician, wait times for imaging such as MRI, and the pursuit of non-operative treatment modalities prior to a surgical referral taking place. The wait time to see an orthopaedic specialist for common sports medicine conditions such as ACL tears, rotator cuff tears, and hip labral tears varies from weeks to years across Canada!
If you reside outside of the province of Ontario and wish to seek a consult for a sports medicine condition, please touch base with our team today. We will get back to you soon to confirm that the appropriate imaging (e.g. x-rays, MRI) has been completed and we will work with you to arrange a virtual/in-person consultation.
