Surgical Procedures
HyperRegen Sports Medicine provides an option for non-Ontario residents to seek expedited care for shoulder, hip, or knee arthroscopic surgical procedures. The reason for this is simple. It turns out that the wait times for both consultation and surgery across Canada can vary from weeks to years. Access to timely clinical and surgical care is a massive challenge for many Canadians. Through a private delivery model, we can leverage out of hospital surgical facilities and provide the timely access to care that is needed for many musculoskeletal conditions.
For Canadians who reside outside of Ontario and wish to have surgical treatment with Dr. Jas Chahal, the first step is to arrange a virtual consultation. After a careful review of your history, exam, and imaging findings, a personalized treatment plan will be created. For patients who are surgical candidates, outpatient procedures will be performed at IHM Surgical Centre. Currently, we can offer the following procedures to non-Ontario residents.
Shoulder Arthroscopy
- Rotator cuff repair
- Shoulder Stabilization (i.e. labrum repair)
- Subacromial decompression
Hip Arthroscopy
- Hip arthroscopy for patients with femoroacetabular impingement
Knee Arthroscopy
- Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction
- Partial meniscectomy
- Meniscus repair
- Meniscus transplantation
- Medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) reconstruction
- Cartilage restoration (AMIC, OATS)
